These kits work by replacing the stock shift light which is integrated into the instrument cluster with a high intensity LED housed outside of the cluster (the stock light remains active as well). The result is a very bright and noticible indication, during both day and night driving, of when the desired shift RPM has been reached. The new light functions exactly like the stock light allowing you to set your desired RPM shift point using the normal buttons on the cluster.

These kits work with the 6 speed 350Z's only. There are no kits available for the G35.

An "audio" option is now available for the kits (for an additional cost) which will sound an audible shift alert in addition to the LED. It features an on/off switch which will allow you to only hear the tone when you want to.

I also make"Shift Alarm Only" kits for those of you who don't mind the look of the stock shift light, but would benefit from an audible notification of the proper time to shift. The price is the same as the normal shift light kits.
